(Kitco News) - Gold prices are moderately higher in early U.S. trading Tuesday, on some fresh technical buying, some bargain hunting and some short covering. Gold and silver traders and investors are looking for some fresh news to better drive their markets. April gold last traded up $7.20 at $1,683.50 an ounce. Spot gold was last quoted up $1.50 at $1,676.50.  March Comex silver last traded up $0.304 at $32.02  an ounce.
